The price achieved of USD 14,340.00 (€ 7,260.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Richard Goubie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French l'Après-Midi Du Dimanche Au Jardin D'Acclimatation in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 662,500.00 (€ 460,837.51).
