Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Les Honneurs Du Pied by Jean-Richard Goubie. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,314.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Richard Goubie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French l'Après-Midi Du Dimanche Au Jardin D'Acclimatation in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 662,500.00 (€ 460,837.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Honneurs Du Pied von Jean-Richard Goubie zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.314,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Richard Goubie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French l'Après-Midi Du Dimanche Au Jardin D'Acclimatation im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 662.500,00 (€ 460.837,51).
