Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Interference B by Yvaral was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,495.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvaral achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Variation Sur Le Carré in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,240.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Interference B von Yvaral kam im November 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.495,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvaral erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Variation Sur Le Carré im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.240,48).
