Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition - 1984 by Jean Miotte was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art - Day Sale auction at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021. The price achieved of EUR 4,550.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Miotte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 51,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition - 1984 von Jean Miotte wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art - Day Sale bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.550,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Miotte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.240,00.
