Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Sans titre - circa 1960 by Jean Miotte was worth EUR 26,240.00 to a buyer in June this year. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jean Miotte; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ohne Titel sold at auction in December 2011 with the realized price of EUR 51,240.00.
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Sans titre - circa 1960 von Jean Miotte war einem Käufer im Juni diesen Jahres EUR 26.240,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jean Miotte; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 51.240,00.
