Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Air Limpide by Jean Miotte was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 15,360.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Miotte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel, which sold at auction in December 2011 for EUR 51,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Air Limpide von Jean Miotte kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 15.360,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Miotte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für EUR 51.240,00 versteigert wurde.
