A top price for Jean-Michel Picart - as previously expected
In January 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings Including European Works of Art, which included the work A Still Life Of A Basket Of Flowers And A Mound Of Fruit On A Sculpted Stone Table, Partly Covered With A Blue Velvet, Gold-And-Silver-Fringed Cloth With Drapery And A Stone Column In The Background by Jean-Michel Picart. The price achieved of USD 601,000.00 (€ 404,959.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Still Life Of A Basket Of Flowers And A Mound Of Fruit On A Sculpted Stone Table, Partly Covered With A Blue Velvet, Gold-And-Silver-Fringed Cloth With Drapery And A Stone Column In The Background is the most expensive artwork by Jean-Michel Picart that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Januar 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings Including European Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life Of A Basket Of Flowers And A Mound Of Fruit On A Sculpted Stone Table, Partly Covered With A Blue Velvet, Gold-And-Silver-Fringed Cloth With Drapery And A Stone Column In The Background von Jean-Michel Picart zur Versteigerung kam. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A Still Life Of A Basket Of Flowers And A Mound Of Fruit On A Sculpted Stone Table, Partly Covered With A Blue Velvet, Gold-And-Silver-Fringed Cloth With Drapery And A Stone Column In The Background das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jean-Michel Picart, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
