Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jean-Marc Bustamante could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in February 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work Table (Pink) changed hands for GBP 441.00 (€ 508.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Marc Bustamante achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work State of grace in May this year with an auction result of EUR 40,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Marc Bustamante konnte im Februar 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Table (Pink) für GBP 441,00 (€ 508,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Marc Bustamante erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit State of grace im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.320,00.
