This artwork by Marcel Cosson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2008. In the Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art auction, the work Interior With Flowers sold for USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,827.79) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Marcel Cosson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A La Brasserie sold at auction in December 2007 with the realized price of EUR 15,850.00.
