Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,569.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Jansem - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le petit plateau, which sold at auction in May 2001 for USD 44,650.00 (€ 52,808.99).

Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Jansem mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le petit plateau beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für USD 44.650,00 (€ 52.808,99) versteigert wurde.
