The »bidding war« ended at CHF 2,375.00 (€ 2,233.74), 32% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean-François Soiron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Young Lady In A Wood, In Black Coat, Red-Bordered Purple Dress With Black Belt With Gold Buckle, White Fichu And White Stock, Gold Earrings, Plumed Black Hat In Her Long Curling Hair in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,583.24).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 2.375,00 (€ 2.233,74) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
