Auction result well in line with expectations
The work IBNX2 by Jean Degottex was sold in the Art contemporain - Vente du soir auction at Christies in London in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 126,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Jean Degottex have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2021 the work Ouest - 1959 was auctioned for EUR 188,500.00.

Die Arbeit IBNX2 von Jean Degottex wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Art contemporain - Vente du soir bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 126.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jean Degottex konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2021 die Arbeit Ouest - 1959 für EUR 188.500,00 versteigert.
