Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean Degottex achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Depli Oblique (I) 26-4-1979 - 1979 sold for EUR 10,496.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Degottex achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ouest - 1959 in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 188,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Degottex erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Depli Oblique (I) 26-4-1979 - 1979 für EUR 10.496,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Degottex erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ouest - 1959 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 188.500,00.
