In November 2008 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Swiss Art, which included the work Construction, 1929 Construction, 1929 by Jean Crotti. The result of CHF 20,000.00 (€ 12,951.00) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CHF 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Crotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les forces mécaniques de l'amour en mouvement in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,032,500.00 (€ 867,792.91).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Construction, 1929 Construction, 1929 von Jean Crotti zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von CHF 20.000,00 (€ 12.951,00) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Crotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les forces mécaniques de l'amour en mouvement im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.032.500,00 (€ 867.792,91).
