Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean-Charles Blais achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in December last year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans titre - 1987 sold for EUR 5,248.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Charles Blais have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loin vite in May this year with an auction result of EUR 35,280.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Charles Blais erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans titre - 1987 für EUR 5.248,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Charles Blais auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loin vite im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.280,00.
