Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sans titre by Jean-Charles Blais was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,216.00 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean-Charles Blais have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loin vite in May this year with an auction result of EUR 35,280.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Jean-Charles Blais wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.216,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Charles Blais auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loin vite im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.280,00.
