This artwork by Jean-Charles Blais achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in December 2021. In the Post-War & Contemporary - Day Sale auction, the work Dans L'Ombre - 1982 sold for EUR 4,550.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Charles Blais have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loin vite in May this year with an auction result of EUR 35,280.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Charles Blais erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary - Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Dans L'Ombre - 1982 für EUR 4.550,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Charles Blais auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loin vite im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.280,00.
