Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Paysage - 1973 by Jean Carzou. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,600.00 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean Carzou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Homme Costumé; Femme Costumée in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 20,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage - 1973 von Jean Carzou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.600,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Carzou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Homme Costumé; Femme Costumée im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.400,00.
