Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Jean Boghossian was auctioned at Bonhams in Brussels in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 10,240.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Boghossian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,730.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Jean Boghossian kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Brüssel zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.240,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Boghossian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.730,54) versteigert wurde.
