Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Jean Boghossian for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,861.09). This price was achieved in the auction We Are All Beirut at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Boghossian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,730.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2020 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jean Boghossian für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.861,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion We Are All Beirut bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Boghossian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.730,54) versteigert wurde.
