Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre - 1960 by Jean Bertholle was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 3,411.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Bertholle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Neon - 1958, which sold at auction in October 2014 for EUR 11,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre - 1960 von Jean Bertholle wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.411,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Bertholle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Neon - 1958 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für EUR 11.700,00 versteigert wurde.
