Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction 20th Century Art 1950 to present, which included the work Sans Titre - 1957 by Jean Bertholle. The price achieved of EUR 4,940.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Bertholle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Neon - 1958, which sold at auction in October 2014 for EUR 11,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion 20th Century Art 1950 to present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1957 von Jean Bertholle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.940,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Bertholle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Neon - 1958 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für EUR 11.700,00 versteigert wurde.
