Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scène Du Bal by Jean Béraud was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 125,000.00 (€ 112,683.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Béraud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French bois De Boulogne in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,810,000.00 (€ 1,625,505.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scène Du Bal von Jean Béraud kam im Januar 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 125.000,00 (€ 112.683,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Béraud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French bois De Boulogne im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.810.000,00 (€ 1.625.505,16).
