Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,040.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Béraud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French bois De Boulogne in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,810,000.00 (€ 1,625,505.16).

Die Arbeit Le Dimanche Près de Saint-Philippe-Du-Roule von Jean Béraud kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.040,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Béraud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French bois De Boulogne im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.810.000,00 (€ 1.625.505,16).
