In the Miniatures auction, the work A fine miniature of a young lady, facing right in lace-bordered low-cut white silk dress with white striped skirt, pink sash, long powdered curling hair, her right hand raised to her face; leaning on a stone plinth strewn with pink roses and flowers, sold for GBP 21,150.00 (€ 33,937.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste Weyler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Du Marquis De La Fayette in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 157,000.00.

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Weyler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Du Marquis De La Fayette im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 157.000,00.
