Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Still Life Of Flowers, Including Tulips, Roses, Poppies And Viburnum In A Sculpted Urn, Resting On A Stone Plinth by Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 56,250.00 (€ 41,088.39). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Bouquet Of Flowers In A Gilded Bronze Urn On A Porphyry Base In An Architectural Setting in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 476,750.00 (€ 531,979.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers, Including Tulips, Roses, Poppies And Viburnum In A Sculpted Urn, Resting On A Stone Plinth von Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 56.250,00 (€ 41.088,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer erzielen.
