In December 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Part I, which included the work Portrait Of Joachim Murat, King Of Naples (1771-1813), Circa 1810 by Jean-Baptiste Isabey. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,318.72), 53% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Baptiste Isabey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait D'Eustachine-Jeanne D'Osmond, which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 47,500.00.

Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Joachim Murat, King Of Naples (1771-1813), Circa 1810 von Jean-Baptiste Isabey zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.318,72) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Isabey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait D'Eustachine-Jeanne D'Osmond beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für EUR 47.500,00 versteigert wurde.
