Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th century Art, which included the work Femme Accoudée À Une Table by Jean-Baptiste Greuze. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Greuze achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Hermit, Or The Distributor Of Rosaries in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,082,500.00 (€ 827,662.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme Accoudée À Une Table von Jean-Baptiste Greuze zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Greuze erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Hermit, Or The Distributor Of Rosaries im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.082.500,00 (€ 827.662,67).
