Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Retour Iv) by Jean-Baptiste Bernadet was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,817.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Bernadet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Fugue - Screen I) in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 86,500.00 (€ 121,963.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Retour Iv) von Jean-Baptiste Bernadet kam im März 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.817,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Bernadet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Fugue - Screen I) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 86.500,00 (€ 121.963,91).
