Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Four drawings) by Jatin Das was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,964.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jatin Das - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Breathing Blue (Nude), which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,874.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Four drawings) von Jatin Das kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.964,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jatin Das mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Breathing Blue (Nude) beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 13.200,00 (€ 10.874,04) versteigert wurde.
