Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jaroslav Rössler achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2017. In the Avant-Garde: Photographs from the Shalom Shpilman Collection auction, the work Untitled, 1960 sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,119.91) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jaroslav Rössler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Light Abstraction, 1923 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 47,463.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jaroslav Rössler erzielte im September 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Avant-Garde: Photographs from the Shalom Shpilman Collection wurde die Arbeit Untitled, 1960 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.119,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jaroslav Rössler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Light Abstraction, 1923 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 47.463,55).
