Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Sans titre by Jannis Kounellis for EUR 100,800.00. This price was achieved in the auction Avant-Garde(s) Including Thinking Italian at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of EUR 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jannis Kounellis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in October 2016 with an auction result of EUR 1,562,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sans titre von Jannis Kounellis für EUR 100.800,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Avant-Garde(s) Including Thinking Italian bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jannis Kounellis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.562.500,00.
