A top price for Jannis Kounellis
In October 2016 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Claude Berri, which included the work Sans titre by Jannis Kounellis. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,562,500.00 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, Sans titre is even the most expensive work of art by Jannis Kounellis that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Jannis Kounellis
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Claude Berri durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Jannis Kounellis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.562.500,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Sans titre sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jannis Kounellis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
