Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2007 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Swings by Jane Dickson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,431.45), 15% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jane Dickson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study for U-Dunk-Em in November this year with an auction result of USD 20,160.00 (€ 18,481.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Swings von Jane Dickson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.431,45) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jane Dickson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Study for U-Dunk-Em im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.160,00 (€ 18.481,85).
