In June 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art, which included the work Czech coast With A Well And A Little Boat (Pobřeží Se Studnou A Loďkou) by Jan Zrzavý. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 34,850.00 (€ 38,555.05), 74% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Zrzavý achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech leÍcí Hoch (Sleeping Boy) in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 542,500.00 (€ 652,826.14).

Im Juni 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Czech coast With A Well And A Little Boat (Pobřeží Se Studnou A Loďkou) von Jan Zrzavý zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 38.555,05) und damit 74% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Zrzavý erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech leÍcí Hoch (Sleeping Boy) im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 542.500,00 (€ 652.826,14).
