The »bidding war« ended at GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,429.49), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van Kessel achieve. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.429,49) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan van Kessel erzielen.
