In July 2014 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Grapes, peaches, hazelnuts, quinces, redcurrants and other fruit, with a brimstone butterfly, a bumblebee and other insects on a stone capital by Jan van Kessel. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 70,948.94). Im Juli 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grapes, peaches, hazelnuts, quinces, redcurrants and other fruit, with a brimstone butterfly, a bumblebee and other insects on a stone capital von Jan van Kessel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 56.250,00 (€ 70.948,94) einen neuen Besitzer.
