Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art, which included the work Portrait of a lady, full-length, in a red and gold embroidered silk dress, seated on a marble bench before a classical column and curtain, a park landscape beyond by Jan van Haensbergen. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan van Haensbergen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Money Changer, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,518.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, full-length, in a red and gold embroidered silk dress, seated on a marble bench before a classical column and curtain, a park landscape beyond von Jan van Haensbergen zur Versteigerung kam.
