Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work "Untitled (Blitzkrieg Bop)", 1987 by Jan Svenungsson for SEK 10,000.00 (€ 1,162.61). This price was achieved in the auction The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jan Svenungsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Torn 4", 1991 in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,354.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Untitled (Blitzkrieg Bop)", 1987 von Jan Svenungsson für SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.162,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Svenungsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Torn 4", 1991 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.354,20).
