In December 2005 Christies in Paris held the auction DESSINS ANCIENS ET DU XIXE SIECLE, which included the work L'Enfant Jésus dans sa crèche, entouré d'anges by Jan Roos. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 960.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Roos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A City Market Scene in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 52,478.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion DESSINS ANCIENS ET DU XIXE SIECLE durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Enfant Jésus dans sa crèche, entouré d'anges von Jan Roos zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 960,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Roos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A City Market Scene im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 52.478,36).
