Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jan Meijer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2020. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans Titre - 1967 sold for EUR 4,940.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jan Meijer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Alaska, 1981-1983 sold at auction in June 2010 with the realized price of EUR 8,288.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Meijer erzielte im März 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1967 für EUR 4.940,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jan Meijer; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Alaska, 1981-1983 im Juni 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 8.288,00.
