However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Lauschmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Evening on Our Staircase, 1927, which sold at auction in October 2017 for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,902.30).

Die Arbeit 'Under Campanile Bell Tower St. Mark, Venice', 1935 von Jan Lauschmann kam im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.871,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Lauschmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Evening on Our Staircase, 1927 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.902,30) versteigert wurde.
