Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Waterlillies by Jan Knikker Sen.. The price achieved of EUR 1,762.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,400.00 – 2,200.00. Other works by Jan Knikker Sen. have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2004 the work A panoramic landscape with cows along a river was auctioned for EUR 2,629.00.

Im Januar 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waterlillies von Jan Knikker Sen. zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.762,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.400,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Knikker Sen. konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2004 die Arbeit A panoramic landscape with cows along a river für EUR 2.629,00 versteigert.
