Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sand Plazma by Jan Kaláb was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Cologne in September 2021. The price achieved of EUR 15,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Jan Kaláb have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2020 the work Blue Cloud 1234Pm was auctioned for GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,098.78).
