Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A still life with cracknels by Jan Eversen. The price achieved of EUR 8,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Eversen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life With Oysters, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 24,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with cracknels von Jan Eversen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Eversen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Still Life With Oysters beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 24.250,00 versteigert wurde.
