Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work The Arch of Gallienus, Rome by Jan Frans van Bloemen was worth EUR 4,750.00 to a buyer in May 2015. This price was achieved in the auction The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part IV at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Frans van Bloemen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Scene In The Roman Campagna With A Capriccio View Of Tivoli And A Bolt Of Lightning in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 274,000.00 (€ 252,954.21).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Scene In The Roman Campagna With A Capriccio View Of Tivoli And A Bolt Of Lightning im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 274.000,00 (€ 252.954,21).
