In December 2020 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Paintings & Sculpture Online, which included the work A capriccio of Tivoli with a waterfall and shepherds by Jan Frans van Bloemen. The result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,341.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Frans van Bloemen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Scene In The Roman Campagna With A Capriccio View Of Tivoli And A Bolt Of Lightning in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 274,000.00 (€ 252,954.21).

Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings & Sculpture Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit A capriccio of Tivoli with a waterfall and shepherds von Jan Frans van Bloemen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.341,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Frans van Bloemen erzielen.
