Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape With The Temple Of Vesta, Tivoli, With Figures Resting On The Bank Of The River by Jan Frans van Bloemen was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,663.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Frans van Bloemen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Scene In The Roman Campagna With A Capriccio View Of Tivoli And A Bolt Of Lightning in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 274,000.00 (€ 252,954.21).

Die Arbeit Landscape With The Temple Of Vesta, Tivoli, With Figures Resting On The Bank Of The River von Jan Frans van Bloemen kam im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.663,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Frans van Bloemen erzielen.
