Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,663.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Frans van Bloemen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Scene In The Roman Campagna With A Capriccio View Of Tivoli And A Bolt Of Lightning in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 274,000.00 (€ 252,954.21).
