Auction result well in line with expectations

In April 2016 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings, which included the work A Wooded Landscape With Figures Conversing, Ruins Beyond by Jan Frans van Bloemen. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,978.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Frans van Bloemen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Scene In The Roman Campagna With A Capriccio View Of Tivoli And A Bolt Of Lightning in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 274,000.00 (€ 252,954.21).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im April 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape With Figures Conversing, Ruins Beyond von Jan Frans van Bloemen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.978,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Frans van Bloemen erzielen.
