It achieved a price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,592.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Jan de Beijer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Amsterdam, The Nieuwe Kerk And The Back Of The Town Hall (Royal Palace) Seen From The Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,636.60).

Die Arbeit The Heukelum Gate in Asperen, with the Dutch Reformed Church von Jan de Beijer kam im Dezember 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.592,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan de Beijer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amsterdam, The Nieuwe Kerk And The Back Of The Town Hall (Royal Palace) Seen From The Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.636,60).
